Apprentice Therapist

Tiv Adler (they/them) is a Master's candidate for Clinical Mental Health at Naropa University with a Bachelor's in Acting from Ithaca College. Tiv has 10+ years of self-education and teaching experience in positive psychology, mindfulness and meditation. Tiv strives to create a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals, promoting self-awareness and emotional regulation. By focusing on strengths and empowering clients, Tiv aims to help clients tap into their inner resources and resilience. Tiv incorporates trauma-informed principles and social justice foundations to foster healing and growth.

Ultimately, Tiv's goal is to discover, honor and uplift each client's unique experiences and values, placing them at the center of the therapeutic process. Tiv is passionate about people, perseverance and authenticity. Curiosity, kindness and the cultivation of patience reveal moments of joy and levity through even the most challenging experiences. Tiv is eager to engage these momentary sparks of ease as fuel for empowering engagement with authentic living. Some of Tiv’s specialties include identity development, LGBTQ+, neurodivergence and autism, young adults, adults, couples/partners (including polyamorous/nonmonogamous), men's issues, spiritual integration, meaning making, and overall wellness.

Outside of the office, Tiv enjoys dancing, boxing, meditating, sewing, poetry, fashion and slow mornings at home with their dog named Turtle.
