Tali Wertheimer

Pre-Licensed Therapist

Tali Wertheimer (she/her) is a Pre-licensed Professional Counselor with a Masters in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling from Naropa University. Tali is also certified Core Energetics practitioner, a modality of personal transformation that bridges somatic psychotherapy with holistic embodiment.

Tali trusts in her clients inherent wholeness and views counseling as an opportunity for people to journey inwards and uncover their authenticity and aliveness. She believes that emotions and sensations are the gateways to self-discovery and invites clients to slow down and make contact with their present moment experience. As an experientially-oriented therapist, Tali weaves together a variety of modalities to meet the unique needs of her clients.

Tali acknowledges that counseling is a vulnerable exchange that can bring up shameful or painful beliefs and feelings. Her goal is to be a safe harbor for the challenging journey of self-transformation by consistently showing up with a curious, compassionate, and non-judgemental heart. She is inspired by her clients' individual truths and is honored to bear witness to their humanity in all of its complexity, pain, resilience, and grace.

Tali specializes in trauma, grief and loss, sexuality, spirituality, life transitions, and couples counseling. People who are interested in embodiment, self-responsibility, and creativity would benefit from collaborating with Tali. She delights when clients cultivate their unique gifts and develop self-love and compassion. Ultimately Tali finds that our individual and collective healing are deeply intertwined and when we allow ourselves to follow our pleasure we live more meaningful and sustainable lives.

Tali is currently pursuing certification in EMDR and IFIO, which is a couples-counseling application of Internal Family Systems. In her spare time, Tali enjoys hiking, conscious dance, and curling up on the couch with a good book.
