Sam Bartolome

Apprentice Therapist

Sam Bartolome (She/Her) is pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health and holds her Bachelor’s degree in Youth Development.

Our stories and life experiences play a large role in shaping who we are and why we do what we do. Sam counts it as a privilege to journey with people into the most sacred parts of their stories. She believes that when done in a safe context with a trusted therapist beside you, psychotherapy is a practice that can lead to great transformation.

With a compassionate posture, Sam creates a safe and non judgemental space for clients to process the parts of themselves that have been impacted by trauma and harmful experiences. Our brave work is built in these safe spaces where understanding self and one’s experiences can lead to healing.

Sam approaches counseling through the lens of attachment, narrative, and parts work. She has a deep interest in people and understanding the multifaceted contexts, patterns, and interrelatedness in which we come from.

Sam works with teens and adults. Some of her specialties include trauma and abuse, sexuality, LGBTQ+, racial identity, spirituality, spiritual trauma, anxiety and interpersonal issues. People who want to grow and heal but are unsure how or where to start may benefit from partnering with Sam.

Sam is a 2nd generation Asian-American and is passionate about culturally sensitive therapeutic work amongst all communities. Sam enjoys morning walks listening to books or podcasts with her dogs, engaging in life giving conversations with friends, cold brew, thrifting and camping with her partner.
