Kelsey Warner

Apprentice Therapist

Kelsey (she/her) has a Master's in Security Studies and a Bachelor's in Military History. She is currently a Masters candidate at Naropa University studying Mental Health Counseling, with a concentration in Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology.

Kelsey's drive as a counselor is to help people confront and move through the suffering they experience, both in traumatic events and through everyday life. She believes each person has the ability to find their inner courage and transform difficult experiences into empowerment and joy. Her strengths in a therapeutic setting include a calm demeanor, humor, willingness to talk about the dark parts of life, and a nonjudgmental attitude. She came to this helping professional after a long journey of working to improve people's lives through criminal justice and the public sector. She believes that to improve one person's life is to make the world a better place. Kelsey specializes in neurodivergence, trauma, and marginalized identities.

People who want to honestly confront the ways in which suffering has arisen in their lives and curiously explore how they developed different ways to survive may benefit from partnering with Kelsey. Kelsey enjoys hiking, reading, video games, skiing, laughing with her dogs, and enjoying the adventures that life brings her.
