Our Leadership

Lundy

Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Licensed Therapist

Lundy (they/them), MA, LPC, is a trans masculine entrepreneur and mental health therapist. Lundy creates companies that advance mental health equity for the underinsured and develop work environments led by the underrepresented.

The roots of Khesed’s story lie in Lundy’s personal experience as a queer person in need of support. When Lundy was pursuing their career, they needed counseling yet were unable to afford it. Unfortunately, their story is common. Since that experience, they have been on a mission to make therapy accessible, understanding that eliminating healthcare barriers impacts client engagement, therapeutic relationships, and mental health outcomes.

Throughout the last seven years of Khesed, Lundy has transformed their initial story of hardship into a one of reclamation and empowerment for themself and thousands of other marginalized people. Khesed has provided over 50,000 affordable and free outpatient mental health therapy sessions to over 4,000 clients, and growing.

When they’re not running board meetings or writing at a coffee shop, Lundy enjoys spending time with their partner, walking with their two golden doodles, and crafting company vision boards.
