Kat Flinchbaugh

Pre-Licensed Therapist, Recruitment Coordinator

Kat (she/her) has a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor's in Communication and Sustainability. Kat is a Pre-Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist pursuing full licensure.

Kat works hard to encourage a sense of truth and freedom in her therapeutic space – she hopes to offer the opportunity to shed the layers of inauthenticity society often encourages us to don throughout life. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, she enjoys working with all populations, from individuals, couples, and families – no matter how one defines these systems.

We all deserve the opportunity to tell our story and have our story heard in an environment free of judgment. Kat hopes to learn and listen to your story to better understand and support your needs, pains, and dreams.

Kat specializes in working with adolescents and their families, families navigating post-divorce marriages and coparenting, couples/partners struggling with marriage issues, sex-related issues, and post-divorce issues, and individuals with anxiety, depression, substance use, suicidal ideation, identity issues, relational issues, social issues, and eco-anxiety.

People who are willing to work towards authenticity through change, self-awareness and growth and those who are looking for someone to actively listen to their story.

Kat enjoys listening to music and attending bluegrass concerts in her free time. She can often be found practicing self-care through her morning pilates and latte routine, and finds joy in life's little pleasures when on the road traveling.
