Pre-Licensed Therapist

Lisa (she/her) has a Master's in Education with an emphasis in family, couples, and marriage counseling and a Bachelor's with a major in Physiology. Lisa is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in Texas.

Lisa works towards building a connection with her clients in hopes to establish trust, and a safe place for the client to open up and begin the healing process. Her therapeutic aim is to create a non-judgemental listening space, in which one feels acceptance, genuineness, and empathy.

As a therapist, in helping the client through their therapeutic journey there is a fulfillment of one's purpose. There is solace in knowing we honor the therapeutic process through empathy and an establishment of trust to guide our client into self-actualization and empowerment.

Lisa specializes in Marriage, Family and Couples, Mixed Couples, Children, Adolescents, Individuals, LBGQT, Substance Abuse, Immigration, Unaccompanied Minors, Immigration Issues, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Grief, PTSD, Holistic and Life Coaching.

The client who seeks therapy understands it is a journey they will not take alone. Through therapeutic guidance and commitment, the path to an improved quality of life can be accomplished.

Lisa is a bilingual Counselor (fluent in both English and Spanish) who works with a cultural diverse client base, and counsels children, adolescents, adults, and families. She conducts individual, couple, family and group sessions.

Lisa enjoys yoga, gardening, and experiencing cultural diversity/immersion through art, cuisine, festivals, and music with her family and friends.
