What Is Khesed?
Khesed comes from a Hebrew word meaning reciprocating kindness, a generous quality that gives as it is received. A person can give away freely what they have in abundance, and through the practice of mental health and holistic wellness, Khesed can spread kindness.
Khesed transforms unused space into wellness centers.
Every human deserves quality healthcare, and that includes behavioral health. Through active integration of community resources and client need, mental health and wellness is accessible to everyone. Khesed partners with the community to utilize unused space in organizations and businesses, helping to provide affordable and accessible mental health and wellness.
The collaboration of community, therapist and individual creates the foundation of kindness and is transformational.
Khesed is built upon 5 pillars, that are essential for individual and communal wellness.
KHESED is RECIPROCATING KINDNESS
KHESED is COMMUNITY
KHESED is COLLABORATION
KHESED is ACCESSIBLITY
KHESED is TRANSFORMATION
Khesed is a lifestyle.
From our Founder:
I created Khesed because I believe kindness transforms communities and work environments. Khesed means loving kindness in Ancient Hebrew. Khesed is active, it reciprocates, it spreads. Mental health and wellness care wants to spread kindness. Organizations and businesses that have unused space become Khesed sites, helping affordable and accessible mental health and wellness care spread in their community. At Khesed, clinicians can thrive through support and collaboration based in kindness. It's a Win-Win-Win™.
You're invited to spread kindness with us!

- 85% of our budget mobilizes Khesed's mission and vision for communities, transforming space, and counselors.
- 60% of our budget goes to staff to help launch well. That cost will decrease as we help more people. Each counseling session expands the "subsidy" fund, which makes reduced-rate services possible.
- 10% of our budget we save for a rain day, scaleable growth, and office expenses.
