Pre-Licensed Therapist

Chris (He/Him/Él) has a Master's in Counseling from Regis University, and has completed additional therapeutic trainings at the Animas Institute, Somatic Experiencing International, and the Colorado School of Energy. Chris is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in Colorado and a National Certified Counselor.

Chris is naturally very collaborative, creative, and curious, and his clients appreciate his warmth and kindness, his lack of judgement, his belief in them, and his sense of adventure. He encourages his clients to examine their values and their goals for therapy, helping them lean into whatever difficult emotions or thoughts might currently feel 'in the way'.

Chris is aware of how hard we can all be on ourselves and the people around us. He finds it profoundly rewarding to help his clients start to experience their life and relationships from a place of increased compassion and curiosity, softening each growing edge with kindness so we can more easily start to evolve.

Chris specializes in Self-Esteem Issues, Men's Issues, Relationship Issues, Attachment Issues, Generalized Anxiety, Workplace Issues, Porn Addiction, Impulse Control, Lack of Effective Boundaries, Gambling Addiction, and Grief. Anyone willing to lean into their emotional experience with bravery, honesty and a sense of adventure will find a compassionate and optimistic ally in Chris.

Chris has an extensive background in wilderness guiding and the creative arts, and he applies his experience in expeditionary learning and narrative structures to his therapeutic work. Chris enjoys adventurous activities in wilderness settings, hanging out with his dog, and making music with friends.
