Lucy Heller

Pre-Licensed Therapist

Lucy (she/they) has an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Naropa University with a concentration in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Psychology. Lucy has a BA from Naropa University in Interdisciplinary Studies (Food Justice, Visual Arts, & Yoga Studies).

Lucy aims to show up as a therapist by following her clients' lead rather than pushing her own agenda, offering gentle guidance when desired and always with consent, and encouraging self-compassion at each step along the way. She helps her clients understand themselves better and process emotions through somatic (body-based), transpersonal (connection-based), and parts-work (feelings-based) interventions. Lucy creates space for all experiences to be seen and heard so as to build more gentleness for one's self and others.

Lucy feels deep warmth and care for her fellow earthlings and wants to help support others in their healing journeys. She lights up when she sees people stepping into their personal power to lead lives filled with purpose and connection.

Some of Lucy's specialties include working with Activists/Organizers, LGBTQ+, Polyamory/Non-Monogamy, and Emotional Regulation. She prefers working with Adults in both Individual and Couples/Partners/Family Therapy.

People who want to live life with more connection and love, and are willing to explore the deep, sometimes uncomfortable, feelings they carry, may benefit from working with Lucy.

Lucy has experience in community organizing and activism (social justice/animal rights/environmental) so she understands the complex mental health issues that come with that work. As a therapist, she wants to understand the systems that surround her clients so that together we can access choice and feel empowered for the long haul.

In her personal life, Lucy loves going on walks with her two dogs, cooking food with loved ones, and expressing herself in a variety of silly ways (dancing/painting/crafting/organizing).
