Meaghan Horsley

Apprentice Therapist

Meaghan (she/her) is currently in her final year of Master's study in the International Disaster Psychology program at the University of Denver. Meaghan uses a person-centered approach and strives to create a safe environment to freely explore emotions, patterns, and meaning in life. She meets people wherever they're at to help them learn how to heal their own wounds, improve their relationships, and connect more deeply with themselves. Helping people connect with their emotions and create meaning in their lives is Meaghan's greatest motivation.

Meaghan specializes in LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy, queer issues, spirituality exploration, healing trauma, and substance use issues. People who are looking to connect with their emotions, explore identity and meaning, and find calm in the present moment may be a good fit with Meaghan.

Meaghan is studying in a Master's program that focuses strongly on training trauma-informed therapists.

Meaghan has a great passion for rock climbing and loves spending time outdoors hiking, walking her dog, and eating chocolate in the sunshine.
