Hospitality Workplace Violence Pro Bono Program

In response to the homicides at American Elm, our community came together to make a difference. Khesed Wellness has partnered with Focus on Health and Another Round Another Rally to launch a new Hospitality Workplace Violence Pro Bono Program to provide 6 months of free mental health therapy (12 sessions) to Denver hospitality workers impacted by workplace violence. Hospitality workers looking to expand their skills and advance their careers may also apply for financial assistance through Another Round Another Rally’s Professional Development Program.

In order to qualify, participants must meet the following criteria:

  • 18+

  • Lives in Denver Metro area

  • Hospitality workers, for the purpose of this program, include anyone working, front or back of the house, in a bar, restaurant, cafe, brewery, wine shop/ winery, or popup events dealing with food and beverage, food preparation, and food service.

  • Impacted by workplace violence

  • Seeking individual outpatient therapy up to weekly sessions

  • Must complete intake call within one month of program approval

Each participant will receive 12 FREE sessions. Upon completion of the program, participants have the option to continue services through our other ongoing affordable or free programs.

About Focus on Health: Focus on Health is a for-profit company that advocates for the health and wellbeing of the food and beverage industry. Their mission is to create equity in the food and beverage industry through programming and resources that better the lives of hospitality professionals.

About Another Round Another Rally: A nonprofit financial and educational resource for the hospitality industry, Another Round Another Rally issues emergency aid to hospitality workers facing unanticipated hardships and reimbursement grants and immersive educational scholarships that further the education of historically excluded voices in the community. From helping hospitality workers build their skills and navigate the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic to assisting bar and restaurant employees dealing with sudden illnesses, natural disasters or other emergency circumstances, Another Round Another Rally works to address pressing needs within the community – regardless of the current state of the restaurant industry.
