Gun Tragedy Survivors Pro Bono Program Overview

Across the country, people from all walks of life have been impacted by gun violence. According to Everytown, 58 percent of adults in a national poll reported that they or someone they care for have experienced gun violence in their lifetime.

Nine out of 10 gun violence survivors report experiencing trauma from the incident. We know that the mental and emotional impact of such tragedies does not always show up right away, and that the effects can last for many years.

Khesed can help.

We are providing free sessions to individuals who have been directly or indirectly impacted by gun violence, who want to process a specific tragedy, or who want to talk through the effects of living in a society prone to gun violence.

Each participant will receive 8 free sessions.

GIVE

The mental and emotional impact of gun-related tragedies often does not show up right away, and it can stay with us for many years.

We are still accepting donations to expand this program and make free support available into the future.

Every $70 raised covers the cost of one mental health therapy session. 100% of each donation directly supports additional sessions for this program.
