Denver Zip Code Pro Bono Program

The underinsured have always been at the center of our mission at Khesed Wellness. Those living without comprehensive health insurance coverage not only lack access to affordable mental health care, they are also less likely to receive preventative care and services for major health conditions and chronic diseases.

Most people without health insurance have at least one worker in the family, and still lack access to health benefits. Families with low incomes are more likely to be uninsured. Due to the limited availability of public coverage in some states, adults are more likely to be uninsured than children. People of color are also more likely to be uninsured than white folks. When we look at the city of Denver, certain areas have a higher concentration of uninsured residents and are often separated from those with higher rates of insurance coverage by just a street or neighborhood.

We are providing FREE mental health therapy sessions for individuals without health insurance living in under-resourced zip codes in Aurora, Denver, Englewood, Lakewood, Littleton and Wheat Ridge. Each participant will receive 16 free sessions. Upon completion of the program, participants have the option to continue services through our other ongoing affordable or free programs.
