MindBody Medicine for Women

“Since emotions run every system in the body, don’t underestimate their power to treat and heal.”

- Dr. Candace Pert, Pioneer in MindBody Medicine

Are you curious about the connection between mental health and physical symptoms? Have you ever been told or believed that it’s all in your head, all your fault, or that you are alone in this?

Whether you experience insomnia, brain fog, digestive issues, back pain, migraines, general fatigue, or something else, you're not alone. The physical expression of emotional distress is common - especially amongst female identifiers in their 20s and 30s who are juggling the many competing demands of early adulthood in a world that is not built for the natural rhythms of the female body.

In Khesed’s MindBody Medicine for Women Group, we will connect around these oftentimes isolating experiences while exploring the scientific basis of the mind body connection (hint: it’s in the brain!). We will begin each meeting with psychoeducation on the biological basis of the mindbody connection relative to the month’s theme, and together we will build the foundation you need to bring a related tool or practice into your life to boost your general wellbeing. Throughout the month, we will be in touch via email with resources for you to deepen your practice and understanding.

You will leave this group with a deep understanding of your own mindbody, connection with others who have similar experiences, and a toolbox full of practices that will support you for the rest of your life.

This group is for female identifiers in their 20s and 30s who experience physical symptoms related to their mental and emotional health and want practical tools for whole healing. This is a closed group capped at 15 members.
