Empowerment and risk management go hand-in-hand, learn how during our interview with Dr. Julie Jacobs. Julie is a licensed psychologist and attorney who practices mental health provider law. She received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology and her J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School. Prior to law school, Julie practiced for 12 years as a clinical psychologist in a variety of settings, including private practice and the USAF. Julie focuses on optimizing the work of mental health providers through her legal practice while also working as a Risk Management Consultant for The Trust and as the Chair of the Legislative Committee of the Colorado Psychological Association.
